Wellness Nurse
The Wellness Nurse primary focus is on promoting the health and well being of the residents at New Dawn Memory Care. The Wellness Nurse is responsible for accommodating residents' preferences and for improving the health of residents as much as possible through diet, exercise, medication, PT and activities. The Wellness Nurse monitors the health of the residents, keeps records of changes in the residents health and provides medical care to residents who need it. The Wellness Nurse is responsible for educating the staff and family members. The Wellness Nurse also communicates with friends, family and all health care professionals in order to coordinate all care related to esridents.
Employee will:

Qualifications:
• A current Arizona nursing license
• CPR/First Aid Certified

The Dining Program
• Plan and create the monthly menu and

• Create a par level supply list and order and
• maintain all food and supplies for the dining
• services program staying within budget.
• Establish a strong, ongoing program including
• recruitment, administrative processing, training

• Work with the Program Coordinator on food
• related items for special events such as
• birthdays, holidays, parties and other events.
• Look for new techniques, methods and
• materials to enhance the dining

Director of Health and Wellness
Reports to: Executive Director
Supervises: All Nursing staff including LPNs, RNs and Medication Technicians
The Director of Health and Wellness works closely with the Executive Director, nurses, QMAPS, doctors and all health care providers to ensure that all of the Residents needs are met. The DHW establishes positive relationships and communication with families and outside medical personnel for the resident’s wellbeing. The DHW works to maintain the resident in their New Dawn Memory Care home and to continually improve the quality of care and the reputation of New Dawn Memory Care.

• monitoring the medication documentation and
• all other tasks related to proper medication

• Assist in the recruitment, training, scheduling,

• QMAP team including performance appraisals.
